Located 300 meters from Vieux Boucau's central beach on the Landes coast, the Cool Cat Surf Academy is a surf school on a human scale, with a special format: group lessons are limited to a maximum of 4 people for safety and teaching quality.
Whether your goal is to take your first waves and get up, or to perfect your technique and learn to read the ocean, this surf school is for you.

Whether you're a beginner or looking to improve your surfing skills, the Cool Cat Surf Academy has a wide range of courses to suit you.
For the sake of quality teaching and supervision, group surf lessons are limited to 4 people per instructor.
What's more, in July and August, the surf school offers a dedicated slot for children aged 6 to 9. This allows us to offer a homogeneous surfing course, with teaching methods adapted to all participants.
Would you like to surf with your family or friends and there are more than 4 of you? Don't worry! Cool Cat also offers courses for 5 to 8 people on request.
In the case of private lessons, video coaching and deluxe sessions, it's essential to get in touch with us beforehand, so that we can target your expectations and choose the most suitable time to suit the conditions.
